About Oden

We built Oden for canine behaviorists and dog trainers because they have the hardest jobs and the worst tools.

Oden exists because pet professionals are running their practices across six disconnected tools that don't talk to each other. We're building one calm, connected workflow — starting with canine behaviorists.

Our mission
Replace fragmented tools with one connected workflow — so pet professionals spend less time on admin and more time changing dogs' lives.
Our vision
Become the trusted operating system for pet professionals worldwide — starting with canine behaviorists, then dog trainers, and shelters.
Why we exist
Because talented people are doing incredible work, dragged down by tools that were never built for them. Spreadsheets don't know what a session is. Calendars don't know what a waiver is.
Our story

Built by people who listened first.

Before we wrote a single line of code, we read thousands of reviews and talked to pet professionals directly. Here's what we learned.

We spent time with canine behaviorists who tracked complex cases across WhatsApp, spreadsheets, paper notes, and PDFs. With dog trainers who juggled group classes and privates across multiple calendars. The pattern was the same everywhere: talented people doing incredible work, dragged down by tools that were never built for them.

So we built Oden — not as another generic business tool with a paw print on the homepage, but as a purpose-built platform that understands what a behavior assessment is, what a training plan is, what a waiver is, and what a referral means to a small practice. We started with canine behaviorists because their workflows are the most complex and their existing tools are the worst fit.

Today, Oden is the calm, connected operating system for pet professionals. We're small, we're focused, and we're obsessed with the people we serve. Every feature starts with a real case and a real problem. Every decision starts with what's best for dogs and the people who care for them.

Values

What we believe

The principles that shape every decision we make at Oden.

Dogs first, always
Every decision starts with what's best for dogs and the people who care for them. Not what's easiest to build.
Simple is hard
We obsess over making things feel effortless. Behind every simple screen is hours of ruthless simplification.
Built with professionals
We ship with canine behaviorists and dog trainers — not at them. Every feature starts with a real case and a real problem.
Niche-focused, not generic
We chose to do one thing exceptionally before expanding. Behaviorists first — then trainers and shelters.
Where we're going

The road ahead

Oden is just getting started. Here's where we're headed.

01Before

Thousands of reviews analyzed

We read thousands of pet professional reviews and conducted direct interviews before writing a single line of code.

02Today

Built for behaviorists and trainers

We started with the hardest case in the pet industry — complex behavior workflows — and expanded to serve dog trainers.

03Next

Shelters and rescues

Once behavior is exceptional, we expand carefully to shelters and rescues — only when we can serve them as well.

04Later

The wider pet ecosystem

Groomers, boarding, daycare, and veterinarians — on our roadmap. We serve behaviorists and trainers today.

The founder

20 years of operator experience. Now building for pet professionals.

His career spans Sony Ericsson, Orascom Telecom, Bee FinTech (10 years as Marketing & BD Director), Huawei (MEA Marketing Director), and CowPay (CEO, scaled GMV 10x in 8 months). He built partnerships with Visa and Mastercard, led two capital raises, and managed PCI DSS readiness. His launch campaign for Bee FinTech was selected by Philip Kotler as the first Egyptian and Arab case study in Marketing Management.

Mohamed is a Fellow Marketer of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), a Visiting Professor at RB College (UK), and a postgraduate lecturer in Marketing, Business Planning, and International Business. He is currently pursuing a DBA in Strategic Management.

At Oden, Mohamed applies two decades of operator experience to the pet software industry — building a platform on 222 documented user stories and Voice of Customer research from 2,500+ personally read reviews. The goal: software that earns your business every month, not traps it.
